Hi there Vanessa,
I have a 13 week baby girl! At about 11 weeks she started sleeping 6-8 straight. I dont have to rock her anymore she falls asleep in her chair of play mat. When i see she is about to fall asleep I pick her up and put her on her crib and falls asleep! Is these a good system????. She does use a soothie pacifier. Everything had been going great until like two or thee days ago. She wants to sleep all the time during the day. I had a schedule for her to be asleep by 7:30-8 pm and she would sleep till 2-3 am, I would feed her and go back to sleep till 6-7. But now she wants to sleep at4-5 pm and wake up at 7 and cant sleep her till 10 ish. She dies sleep from that time till like 4-5 am. What can I do?

Johana Ramos She usually wakes up at 6:30-7 i change her then play with her then lay her in the play mat. After a while she start to want the pacifier, when i guve it to her she starts to give signs! I dont let her fall asleep i pick her drowsy and put her in the crib awake and put her inside a sack, she falls asleep fast. Before she would sleep an hour, but now she can sleep 3, and i dont know if more because after a while i start cleaning and opening the curtains so she can wake up. Then every couple hrs she falls asleep anywhere but when it comes to 7-8 she doesnt what to sleep till like 9 or 10 pm. Today she wanted to sleep at 5pm after waking up from nap at 3 pm. What I did was tired her practicing putting her in the crib she would cry i knownif ingave her the pacifier she would sleep so I practiced without her. She didnt want to sleep so inplayed with her till like 6:30 pm then gave her, nursed her then she fell asleep fast like at 7:40 pm |

It sounds like she is staying awake too long between the naps? Is she awake longer than 1 hour and 30 mins? |

Johana Ramos She takes like two naps but sleeping almost 4 hrs. I don't offer. If I see she wants to fall asleep in the play-mat of baby chair i put her in the crib . |

Johana Ramos Her first nap is an hr after she wakes from night sleep. The others ones like 2-2 1/2 hrs . But if inlet her sleep every hr after nap, she won’t sleep at night. How long should naps be? |

Hey Johana, |

Johana Ramos I followed ur advice! She went to bed at 8:30 pm last night till 9:00 am! 😁 she only woke up twice to feed and change diaper. So when she woke up i changed her played with her in my arms a little then put her down on her play mat. After an hr she showed me signs of being tired so i ger her the pacifier, picked her up and placed her on the crib fully awake. She started cooing for some minutes and moving alot. Her pacifier fell twice so i had to come in and put in. I had to donit twice then she fell asleep!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How long should naps be? |

Great Progress! Nap will vary in length right now. It can be as short as 10 minutes or as long as 2 hours. Likely it will be 4 naps during the day. It can be 4-7 hours during the day that she naps. This is a helpful guide: http://www.mybabysleepguide.com/2013/02/average-sleep-charts-by-age.html |
