Any ideas for quick and easy snacks I can prepare while tending to baby? I'm finding it really hard to squeeze in time to eat.

Hi Christine! Eating becomes a whole new task when also caring for a baby. Often times we shove something into our mouths without even thinking since we only have a few seconds! I would suggest keeping hard boiled eggs, hummus, nut butter (peanut/almond/etc.), low-sugar granola bars (KIND and RX are my favorites), baby carrots and rice cakes at the ready. Cheese is great in small quantities, and if you have time to spread avocado on a rice cake or piece of toast that is a great snack as well. I hope this helps! I've heard prenatal yoga is great, but what about after baby? Never tried yoga, so would be coming in as a total newbie!

Hi there! Postnatal yoga is a great way to ease back into exercise even if you are a newbie. Focusing on strengthening your body and reconnecting with your core is exactly what it needs. It is also a wonderful thing to do with you new baby! Many yoga studios offer “mommy and me” classes even up though toddlerhood. I would high recommend it! |
