How much water should my little one be drinking? What portions of protein, carbs, and fiber should each meal include? Ask these questions and more during this Q&A with Janel F., Tinyhood's Registered Dietitian.
Without knowing the age of your child, I'll assume s/he is old enough to drink out of a sippy/straw cup. It is important to keep offering the cup of water without pressuring to drink. Assuming you didn't provide juice at home before (or at least didn't provide it regularly) it may just take a couple of days of holding your ground to return to that being what is normal. In the meantime, make sure your child is eating plenty of water-rich foods like fruits and veggies, as these provide hydration as well.
