It's really painful around the nipple area why
Hi Desiree - I’m sorry you are in pain! Can you tell me a little more about your situation...how old is baby? Is this pain new? Do you nurse and pump?
Yes I nurse and pump baby is just turn a month yesterday the pain is around the nipple when he latch's it hurts
if the pain is at base of nipple i'm' guessing it's a pump injury (perhaps
the breast shield size is too strong or you are turning pump up too high).
if pain is at tip of nipple, my guess is baby's latch is not as deep as it
could be. when baby latches, try putting some gentle pressure on baby's
chin to open jaw wider and get latch deeper.
What is a good pump to use I find I cant pump much but breastfeeding more milk will come out
Hi Bianca - it may not be the actual pump but the size of the breast shields that you are having trouble with. What have you tried so far? Have you tried hand expressing?
