Drank
NATALIE HICKS

This evening I consumed 8 cocktails in the period of 4-8pm it is currently 12:31am here now. I am 224 pounds and I did eat as I was drinking as well. But idk if it’s safe to give my baby my milk I pumped and I breastfeed so what should I do?

Hi Natalie - An occasional drink is ok/safe but 8 cocktails is significant. The rule of thumb is to wait until feel sober again to breastfeed. In a situation like that, if baby is hungry you’ll want to offer previously pumped/stored breast milk if you have or formula if you don’t have any expressed breast milk stored.

Hi Angelina - happy to help try and boost your pumping output. A few questions first:
Are you nursing and ph ping or exclusively pumping? How often do you nurse or pump? And what kind of pump are you using?
