I have a really forceful letdown. My little girl often chokes during and after nursing. She also has VERY bad painful gas (is that something that's related to the letdown?). She has gotten to where she will unlatch once my letdown starts so that way she doesn't choke, but still sometimes will try to nurse through it. Is there a way to make it easier for her?? And also, I have a very PAINFUL letdown. To the point to where both if my breasts feel extremely sore and feel like they are going to explode. I try not to even move while its happening. Normal??

Hi Hailie, thank you for reaching out. Your baby's gas could definitely be related to your letdown. |
I have a baby who is 5 days old and my nipples are sore when I pump and have little scabs. I’m not sure if the pumping cup is to small

Hi Vanessa, thank you for reaching out! Are you also breastfeeding, or just pumping? |
