I'm a first-time mom, and will probably be a second-time mom pretty soon. Even though I know I want to have children close together, I'm not sure I want to commit to a large stroller at the moment. Any advice?

Unless you know you only want to purchase one stroller, there is no need to get a big stroller that’s capable of seating two children just yet. Since most people end up buying a lighter weight stroller anyway, you could start off with this one and upgrade to a larger stroller later. |
Hi! Any clocks you recommend for a baby room? Also, what are the best sound machines? Thanks!

Hi Michelle, |
Hi Natalie! My daughter's room is on the far side of our house and there are a lot of walls. The old motorola (I've had for 3 years) range was not long enough to work in our bedroom. I imagine there are better monitors out there now. While I don't care about the picture quality, I would need a video monitor (not audio only). Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Becky Actually, these are the two monitors I already own and bought over two years ago. They do not have great range. When I look on Amazon, they have a quick comparison of the monitors and these two fall on the lower end of range. |
Hi Natalie! Do you have any suggestions for baby gates? My daughter is only 7months old, but she’s already crawling off our large mat and quickly wandering into other areas. Our apartment has a very open format where the living/ dining/ kitchen is all one big space, so the gate would need to be freestanding (or instead, connect from a wall to the back of our couch-not sure this exists) to enclose the area. We will be moving this summer, so hoping for something that is generally easy to put up and take down. Thanks

Hi Christi, |
Hi there,
I have the Chico keyfit 30 for my son.
He’s only 6 months old but is 20lbs and 28-29 inches long.
His harness is in the highest adjustment and i was wondering
1. Should the head rest be removed?
2. He has to meet both height and weight requirements before changing seats right?
3. This seat can not be reversed right? We have to get a whole new car seat...
Thanks! Megha

I recently found a gorgeous vintage dresser at a yard sale, and would love to use it in my daughter's nursery. What changing pad should I buy to go with it?
|
Natalie G.
For vintage dressers or any dresser that does not have a built-in changing pad top, I recommend you purchase one with a non-slip surface for added safety. Here are four options ranging in price points. The Bumbo is a budget-friendly option. The Keekaroo is the longest so you’ll get a lot of use out of it. The Hatch is the same price as the Keekaroo but you get added benefits such as a scale that works with a smart phone. The Leander is the most expensive, widest and comes in some unique colors. |
