Village Child Assessment is a pediatric neuropsychology practice located in Mount Washington Mill. Kerry Silvia is a local mom and licensed clinical psychologist who provides assessments for children and adolescents, from preschool through college age. This includes assessment of a child’s cognitive, emotional, behavioral, and academic functioning. She works with kids and teenagers struggling with attention and organization (including possible ADHD); learning difficulties (including dyslexia); social, emotional, or behavior problems that are impacting their functioning; and cognitive difficulties associated with medical or neurodevelopmental issues (such as autism spectrum disorder, epilepsy, traumatic brain injury, or prolonged recovery from concussion). The goal of the assessment is to provide specific, practical recommendations for your child in a timely fashion. Recommendations may include treatment, local resources, strategies for home and school, and/or school accommodations. Kerry offers free phone consultations to discuss your concerns and determine whether an assessment might be helpful for your child.
