The Baltimore Montessori operates two full-time preschools that run year-round, both of which are located within walking neighborhoods. The Fell’s Point and Locust Point schools serve children 2–5 years old, including those who are not yet potty trained. The curriculum utilizes traditional Montessori materials to teach practical life skills, sensorial skills, math, language, and culture. The schools offer Spanish as a second language, music, art, cooking, and playtime in their private outdoor playgrounds. A morning snack of fruit and milk, lunch, and an afternoon snack are also provided. Hours of operation are 7:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m. at the Fell’s Point location and 7:30 a.m–6 p.m. at the Locust Point location.
