Tinyhood Review: The Baby Brezza Bottle Washer Pro

The Bottle Washer Pro is the first of its kind. It’s a machine that washes bottles without any prewashing, and sterilizes and dries them too. It has 6 different cleaning modes that allow you to customize your cleaning cycle for bottles, pump parts, and accessories.

It has 20 high-pressure spray jets to thoroughly clean everything, with dedicated slots for bottles, pump parts, nipples, caps, and collars. You can even use it for pacifiers and teethers. Parents can spend a lot of time scrubbing and sanitizing bottles, and considering that you need to clean bottles daily (if not more often!), this becomes a real time saver.

How do you use it? ​

Set-up with this is fairly simple. It mostly comes assembled, and you just need to remove some plastic film and wash the 2 tanks (one each for clean and dirty water) before use.

Using it is easy– just fill up the clean water tank and make sure the dirty water tank is empty. Then  add a Baby Brezza cleaning tablet before every cycle.  You can’t use standard dishwashing detergent because it would add too many suds, but you can easily buy 120-tablet refill packs at a cost that nets out to around 17 cents a tablet. The ingredients are non-toxic,baby-safe, and have earned the Clean Label Purity Seal. As far as how to actually use the machine, it’s really just insert the tablet and press start!

Does it actually work? ​

Yes, the Bottle Washer Pro cleans bottles and pump parts amazingly well, thanks to directed spray jets, and at the end of the cycle, everything is not only clean, but sterilized, dry, and ready to use again. For parents who pump, it’s really a game changer to have pump parts clean and ready to pack when you wake up in the morning.

The Bottle Washer Pro has 6 settings, and though the full Wash-Sterilize-Dry setting does take over an hour to complete, it’s still faster than most dishwashers and definitely more efficient than scrubbing by hand. We recommend getting in the habit of running it before you need the bottles – running it at night before baby goes to bed ensures we always have clean bottles.  

The fact that this washes AND dries AND sterilizes makes this machine completely unique. Especially when you are a new parent in the early months of newborn life and worrying about washing, sterilizing, air drying, and germs, just knowing that it’s all taken care of without having to do anything manually is a big relief.

Also, even though this is called the Bottle Washer Pro, we think the real magic comes in the flexibility this machine has to clean all those annoying pump parts, too.
