Hi! My husband and I are looking for a wonderful nanny to join our family for our 9-month old daughter. We’re really hoping to find someone who is interested in a long-term position and would like to grow with our family over time. The role is guaranteed 40 hours per week Monday-Friday generally around 8/8:30am-5/5:30pm. (Occasional flexibility to provide additional hours on a weekend with plenty of advance notice would be a plus)
We are looking for someone who is mature, experienced, loving, responsible, organized and trustworthy. Our top priority is finding someone who is warm and engaging who enjoys supporting our daughter's development—both through age-appropriate activities at home and by getting out and about as she continues to grow (library, children’s museum, playgrounds with other kids, etc.). We’d also appreciate help with light household tasks related to our daughter and family, like basic tidying, vacuuming, laundry, and helping with simple meal prep.
We live in an old brownstone, so the nanny must be able to walk up 3 flights of stairs with our daughter and the diaper bag, etc. (We do keep the stroller downstairs) Pediatric/CPR certification is required. Non-smoker and dog friendly! (We have a small Labrador Retriever)
Start date is around March 1st! If you are interested or know someone who might be a good fit, please message me!

Amazing nanny available in January
I am posting this on behalf of my friend’s nanny who is seeking a job as they are moving out of state. This is what my friend wrote about her lovely nanny.
We’re moving out of state and, with very heavy hearts, preparing to say goodbye to our incredible nanny of 13 months a truly extraordinary caregiver who has become part of our family.
She has decades of experience and brings warmth, patience, and positive energy. She is never late (usually early), always dependable, and somehow manages to balance being both calm and full of life she is adored by my 19 month old (and my husband and me)!
One of the most special things about her is how she fosters community. Through her, our son has daily social time with other children his age —she meets up regularly with a group of nannies and kids, and now we even attend those children’s birthday parties. Thanks to her, our son is not just well cared for, but thriving socially and emotionally.
She plans enriching, screen-free days filled with books, music, outings to museums, splash pads, and story time at the library. She honors our no-screen-time values with ease and grace, always fully engaged and never distracted by her phone. Though never asked or expected, she often folds laundry, tidies up, and does our dishes thoughtful gestures that have made our home feel lighter. Her generosity of spirit, attention to detail, and deep love for children set her apart. She has taught me so much about motherhood, gently guiding with wisdom and love. It’s hard to imagine life without her, but we’re hoping to find a family who will appreciate her as much as we do. She really has become a member of our family.
