Our wonderful nanny of 2+ years is relocating to California for her fiance’s job on short notice, and we are looking for a new nanny to join our family. Start is flexible in December, but must be available by January 1.
We are two busy, working parents with two sons (two years old and six months old). Our toddler attends preschool in the mornings, and our nanny would need to be comfortable bringing the baby to pick the toddler up via public transportation every day before lunch. We live very close to the green line in the South End, so this is an easy commute. The baby will be with the nanny full-time, and the toddler will come home for lunch and nap every day. We do have a small dog in the house – while our nanny would not have any responsibilities caring for the dog, she will definitely want pets, so loving animals is a plus.
We are looking for a nanny who is available 45-50 hours per week (8:00am or 8:30am through 6:00pm Monday through Friday). Our home is on the third floor of a walk-up building, so we need someone who is physically active and able to handle the stairs with an infant and toddler. We do not have parking available, but live very close to the orange and green lines in the South End. We would love to find a nanny who is familiar with the neighborhood’s parks, music classes, enrichment at Lovage, etc., and who would like to take the kids on adventures to the aquarium and Children’s Museum. We may work from home at times, so we would like to find a nanny who we're comfortable spending time with as a family. We anticipate this being a long-term (2yr+) position for the right candidate.
