We are looking for another family to join a nanny share with near Kendall square, East Cambridge! We have a wonderful loving nanny, Sherlyn, who has been caring for our son since he was 3 months old (now 12 months). Sherlyn speaks English and Spanish fluently and has extensive experience with infants, has done multiple prior nanny shares, and has 3 kids of her own. She loves to get out of the house every day to parks, playgrounds, museums, and consistently seeks out fun activities and playgroups for the kids. We prefer to host, and have an extensive toy library in our home (thanks to our older kiddo) as well close actual library in case of cold/rainy days. We would prefer an October start but could start a little earlier or later if that works better. Mostly we are looking for a good fit with another family. Please feel free to contact me at 858-922-7837 **corrected #*** (text preferred) or stephbuss@gmail.com. – Steph Buss

I am writing to highly recommend our wonderful nanny, Odalys (“Lis”) Alvarez. She is currently looking for a new full-time nanny share role starting January 2026, ideally in the Cambridge / Charlestown / Somerville area.
Lis has been with our family for the past few months, and the only reason we are ending our time together is because we are moving abroad — otherwise, we would bring her with us in a heartbeat. She has truly become part of our family. Every day she brings so much passion, love, and joy to caring for our son (and to supporting us as parents).
As a dual-career family, we can’t emphasize enough how wonderful Lis has been in helping us balance everything. She brings calm, reliability, and warmth, and we always knew our son was not only safe, but thriving, under her care.
Lis is always out and about with him and the other kid in the nanny share — at parks, museums, and on little adventures that keep him engaged and happy. She goes above and beyond in every way. One weekend, when both of us were sick, she even offered to care for our son on her own time, without asking for anything in return. That’s just who she is: thoughtful, caring, and deeply committed.
If you are looking for a warm, trustworthy, and energetic nanny, Lis is an exceptional choice. She also speaks both Spanish and English. Please feel free to contact us if you’d like to learn more about our experience or be connected with her. Thank you!
