I'm thrilled to recommend our wonderful nanny, Sherley, who is looking for her next long-term position with a loving family. Before us, Sherley was with her last family for almost 12 years, helping raise their three children from infancy through elementary school. Her prior family described her as “hitting the jackpot,” “one of kind,” and “exceptionally caring.” During our reference call, both parents told us that across both of their professional careers, Sherley was the best hire they had ever made.
Sherley is the kind of nanny who treats your children and your home as though they were her own. She takes tremendous pride in her work, is exceptionally reliable, and consistently goes above and beyond to support the families she works with. Her integrity, professionalism, and work ethic are truly second to none.
During her time with us, Sherley was exceptionally reliable, hardworking, conscientious, and dedicated. She was always on time (and usually early) and was always willing to come in early or stay late (even on very short notice) whenever our family needed extra support. Sherley is the definition of a team player, always willing to step in wherever she was needed and committed to helping our household run smoothly.
Sherley is a highly engaged nanny who is always focused on safety and activities. Sherley loved taking them on adventures in every season and all kinds of weather. Whenever I happened to run into them while I was out, she was never sitting on a bench on her phone. She was always reading books with them or staying within arm's reach to make sure they were safe while they explored. She is, without question, the most safety-conscious nanny we've ever had, and I always felt completely confident that our children were being watched carefully and thoughtfully.
Sherley also does an excellent job helping keep a household running smoothly and is happy to assist with laundry, meal preparation, errands, and household organization. She lives in Dorchester, has a driver's license and a car, and is looking for a long-term, full-time position (preferably 45-50 hours) with a wonderful family, ideally in the South End/Back Bay Area. She can be available immediately for the right long-term fit.
Please feel free to reach out to Sherley directly at 857-333-9589. I and her prior family are happy to provide references!
Hi Parents,
We are sadly moving on from our current nanny as we no longer need full time support. Ketty has been with us since November or so, right after my daughter turned 2. She has been a great toddler nanny - she keeps her engaged all day, does a lot of activities with her, takes her to museum/park etc, and has also been potty training her. Ketty is strict with my daughter for things like eating and napping, but I still hear them laughing loudly all the time playing. Ketty takes care of all of Naomi's laundry, cleans the play areas and generally tidies up, she'll do dishes and some cooking as well if you plan it in advance with her. I never have to worry about having a meal ready because Ketty will figure it out with what we have in the fridge/pantry. She has also never called out sick and even supported us through hospital stays with our daughter this winter.
Prior to us, Ketty was with another family for over 7 years and over 25+ years of childcare experience as a daycare/school teacher.
She'd ideally like a full time role (40+ hours/week) in the Boston or Cambridge/Somerville area. She drives, which has been a plus for us for drop offs and pick ups from activities.
I'm happy to chat more and can't recommend her enough. Please reach out to her directly at 617-388-5199.
