The Ann Pappajohn Vassiliou Child Study Center (CSC) is a preschool for children from the age of two years and nine months up to Kindergarten age. Named for an alumna and former trustee, the CSC was established in 1974. The program’s purpose is to provide a high-quality education for preschoolers in the Chestnut Hill area and to offer a unique learning experience for Pine Manor College students. The preschoolers benefit from interaction with and the care of college students majoring in Early Childhood Education. This quality preschool program is licensed by the Commonwealth’s Department of Early Education and Care (EEC). Open 5 days per week, 7:30 am until 6:00 pm, we offer part-time and full-time schedules for families September through June with the option of enrolling for the summer. A comprehensive curriculum is presented each day with the primary focus on nurturing the young children and exposing them to a variety of materials to expand their knowledge. The Child Study Center offers a summer program.
