Children’s Choice Learning Center at Metro West is open to community enrollment. Children’s Choice is NAEYC accredited, offering early care and education to children 6 weeks to 5 years in their year-round educational programs. They believe in providing a physical environment that is safe, developmentally appropriate, and child friendly. Classrooms are arranged by age to offer challenging play and learning choices at a range of developmental levels. Learning centers allow children the opportunity to explore, to experience, and most importantly to succeed. Educators teach Children’s Choice Classics©, a proprietary, literacy-based curriculum, which is drawn from classic and contemporary children’s literature for infants up to school age children. This approach to learning promotes a love for reading, teaches a respect for books, and encourages children to become lifelong learners. They encourage not just learning, but the love of learning. Backup care is also available on a space-available basis. Children are offered healthy, family-style meals and snacks that include whole grains and lots of fruits and vegetables. A registered dietitian designs the menus, which meet USDA guidelines. Summer program offered. Call to schedule a tour or reserve a space in the classroom today. Both full-time and part-time slots are available; part-time slots are limited. Federal employees may receive a discount. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
