Keriann MacElroy is a Certified Pediatric Sleep Consultant, trained and certified through the Sleep Sense™ Program and a member of the Association of Professional Sleep Consultants. She graduated from the University of Kentucky in 2004 with a Bachelor’s degree in Family Studies, beginning her career helping families. Her early experience consisted of serving as a social worker for foster children and teaching parenting classes for foster and adoptive families. Keriann later became director of a therapeutic foster care agency in Louisville, Kentucky where she oversaw the care of foster children with a range of special needs. Subsequently, she worked as a birth parent counselor and an international adoption counselor for a national adoption agency before working for Texas Health and Human Services providing support for families enrolled in the state’s Medically Dependent Children Program. Keriann’s education and training emphasized early childhood development, understanding children with special needs, and the use and implementation of behavioral modification techniques. She has extensive experience supporting families of all sizes and circumstances through life’s most challenging transitions. She enjoys putting her counseling skills to work by giving parents the tools they need to help their children develop independent sleep skills and alleviate bedtime struggles for children ages 0-8 years old. She is the founder of Dream Factory Sleep Solutions based in Lewisville, Texas, a suburb of Dallas.
