Our wonderful nanny, Michelle, will be available starting June/July (with flexibility on start date), and we can’t recommend her highly enough.
Michelle has been with our family for the past two years, starting when our daughter was just 5 months old. She even came with us when we moved from Boston to the South Shore a year ago, which speaks volumes about her commitment and the bond she builds with the families she works with. In that time, she has become an incredibly important part of our lives and has had a huge impact on our daughter’s growth and development. We are only parting ways because I will be transitioning to become the primary caregiver.
Michelle has 20+ years of experience and is everything you hope for in a
caregiver—reliable, on-time, caring, communicative, and fully engaged. One of the things we’ve always valued most is how present she is; she is never on her phone and is truly focused on the child she’s caring for.
She has been amazing about getting our daughter out of the house every day for enriching activities including library classes, music classes, regular walks outside, active time at playgrounds, and other opportunities that are both educational and social. She genuinely loves exploring and creating engaging experiences for the children she cares for.
Michelle is also wonderful at establishing and maintaining routines. Thanks to her consistency and attentiveness, our daughter has thrived on a structured schedule. She has spent countless hours reading, playing music, and working on early learning skills like counting, letters, and colors and we’ve seen our daughter’s language and cognitive skills truly blossom under her care.
She is dependable and experienced, and brings a calm, steady presence to each day while clearly caring deeply about the children she works with. Any family would be incredibly lucky to have her.
