  3. Exciting Opportunities for Kids at the Johns Hopkins University!

    Hi there!

My name is Alex and I'm the lab manager at the Johns Hopkins Lab for Child Development. I'm writing to you today because I am hoping you might be interested in finding out more about our lab. Visiting our lab and participating in our research is a fun and easy activity for young families!

The Lab for Child Development is a developmental psychology research group right in Baltimore on the Homewood campus of Johns Hopkins University. We investigate how infants and children perceive and reason about the world around them. We explore such topics as how infants and children remember hidden objects, learn new words, and think about number and mathematics by playing simple games that parents and children usually find lots of fun! We are currently conducting these studies with infants and children between the ages of 0 and 13 years of age. Each study lasts about 10-30 minutes and requires only one visit to our lab. Free parking is provided and as a thank you, each child receives a small gift! More information about our research group can be found on our website: http://www.psy.jhu.edu/~labforchilddevelopment/

Interested participants can also email us on our secure server at infant.research@jhu.edu, call us at (410) 516-6068, or fill out our secure web form with information about their family: http://www.psy.jhu.edu/~labforchilddevelopment/pages/signup.php

Please contact us should you have any questions!

    Best wishes,
    Alex
