The Martin Luther King, Jr. Swim Center is located in the Colesville-White Oak area conveniently located near Rt. 29 and the Beltway. Our swim center includes an eight-lane 25-meter stretch pool with a movable bulkhead, allowing for a separate diving area, diving boards and a five-meter platform, a Teach Pool for children and a hydrotherapy pool. The facility promotes health and exercise opportunities, teaches life-time water skills, provides a social outlet for our customers and is completely handicapped accessible. The MLK Pool is fully programmed daily and on weekends. There are times available for lap swimming, recreational swimming, water fitness classes, swimming lessons, kayaking, lifeguard training, water safety and lifeguard instructor courses, CPR and much more!
