The idea for a customer-centric children’s store, where you could find the coolest clothing, gifts and accessories not found anywhere else in Baltimore, began when we opened our sister store Fells Point Surf Co in 2003. After only a few months, we realized the need for a children’s store that catered to the quickly growing Fells Point neighborhood. In the fall of 2005 during the annual Fells Point Fun Festival, The Corduroy Button was born. With experience in the fashion and action sports industry gained from the surf shop, we set out to establish a children’s specialty store unlike any other in the area. Locally owned and operated, we pull from product reviews, customer recommendations and personal experience to find products that represent the quality and sophistication that our customers and their children expect and deserve.
