Make/Made - LAST DAY at ICA

Boston Parents

  1. All Ages

    Sunday, 08/27

    12:00 PM — 4:00 PM EDT

The ICA offers visitors of all ages the chance to create artworks of their own in the Bank of America Art Lab on Saturdays and Sundays from 12 to 4 PM. Developed in collaboration with arts education students from the Massachusetts College of Art and Design and professional artists, these activities focus on the creative process and allow participants to learn by doing. Past projects have been co-created by Nick Cave, Wes Bruce, Dave Ortega, Susannah Lawrence, and Ekua Holmes. Make/Made is free for all visitors with museum admission.

This season, participate in the current Make/Made project designed by Bennie Flores Ansell. Work with stencils, special papers, and artists’ paint markers to create unique flying fish that tell a story from your life. Add your work to Ansell’s Fish Out of Water installation in the Art Lab.

Also, challenge yourself to try mirror symmetry drawing. Decorate a flying fish with color and designs to take home.

FREE with admission. Admission is always FREE for visitors 17 and under.
